SCADA SE Retrofit

Brief Description

New, complete application for the introduction, analysis, evaluation, and redesign of existing buildings, as well as for the introduction of reinforcements in existing cross-sections of columns and beams made of reinforced concrete. All necessary checks are performed in accordance with the provisions of KAN.EPE. and EC8 part 3 for assessment and redesign. The analysis of the structure can also be performed using the inelastic static method (Pushover). It also includes the production of construction drawings, formwork and reinforcement plans, the preliminary measurement of materials and the complete production of the study report.

Loads

You can enter the loads you want on the members graphically. All types of loads are supported, such as uniformly distributed forces, concentrated forces, concentrated forces, torsional moments, settlements, loads due to temperature changes, etc.

The loads and combinations provided for by EC0 are automatically calculated by the program with full intervention capability by the designer.

Plate insertion and loads

All analyses for the assessment of existing buildings according to KAN.EPE are included. (Inelastic – Pushover, Linear dynamic method of time history of the response of the structure, Elastic using the q and m coefficient method Preliminary check using a simplified linear spectral method (equivalent spectral method) and preliminary check using a linear dynamic spectral method.
Full printout of strength ratios per element. Check for ductile or brittle failure. Calculation of shear ratio based on KAN.EPE. and analytically based on stress intensities.

Possibility of importing and checking wall fillings in accordance with the provisions of KAN.EPE

You can automatically insert wall infills, as required by KAN.EPE. Each wall is simulated automatically with two diagonal bars (tension and compression) and the material is selected from an extensive library of ready-made walls. You also have the option of configuring and composing your own masonry from individual materials. During the analysis, infill walls can be included or excluded from the model after they have been entered. All necessary checks for deformation are performed, with the tensile elements automatically removed from the model.

Valuation – Redesign

Inelastic static analysis (Pushover) allows a more accurate approximation of the behavior of the structure, a more realistic assessment of its stress and deformation state, and provides information about its members that elastic methods do not provide.

The skeletal diagrams of the members per end and per direction are also calculated for each step and displayed graphically. The designer can choose to apply the residual strength of the members by specifying the residual strength percentages both at the stress level and at the deformation level, with corresponding dynamic adjustment of the skeletal diagram.

All necessary analyses are performed automatically using predefined parameters, all performance criteria checks required by KAN.EPE are performed, and the results are presented in a direct and clear manner.

Easy and quick configuration of the existing reinforcement of structural elements through user-friendly editors and automatic adjustment of the strengths of existing materials, in accordance with KAN.EPE.

Definition of New and Existing Material

The new version of SCADA SE Retrofit now allows two material qualities to be defined simultaneously for structural elements: New and Existing. For existing materials, the final compressive strength is now calculated automatically based on the relevant provisions of KAN.EPE.

The reinforcement is entered quickly, easily, and clearly through the editors. The program automatically calculates the new resistance moments based on the interaction diagrams of the composite cross-section for different materials (old – new material).
