Software Verification Examples for SCADA Pro

10

Assumptions

During analysis, shear deformations are neglected. Section properties are automatically

recovered from cross section library of ScadaPro and are presented in Tables A2.2.1 and

A2.2.2.

Technical Features in ScadaPro Tested

Two – dimensional analysis of beam elements

Beam under vertical loading

Flexible boundary conditions

Results Comparison

Maximum values of vertical, horizontal displacements and bending moments at different

positions for each load case obtained from ScadaPro analysis are presented in Table A2.2.3,

A2.2.4 and Table A2.2.5, A2.2.6, respectively and compared with those obtained from

Sap2000 and Abaqus software. Moreover, in Tables 2.9 and 2.10, base reactions are

presented for each load case.
