SCADA Pro OVERVIEW
" Design of load-bearingmasonry structures (EC 6) Load-bearing masonry based on EC6. In SCADA Pro you can import any load-bearing masonry construction by defining the contour of the floor plan with simple lines, either by drawing it in its graphical interface or by importing a dwg, dxf file. The simulation is done automatically with 3D finite surface elements, the most modern method of analysis and design of such structures. Then, through the rich library of walls, stonework and mortars, you have the ability to give the surfaces of your building, selectively or as a whole, the type wall you want. In your construction model you can even enter linear elements in order to simulate the type of interstitial masonry. For the analysis of the carrier, all types of masonry are included: • Unreinforced Masonry • Interlayer Masonry • Reinforced Masonry Regarding the design and checks provided by EC6: "Design of load-bearing masonry structures" the application provides you with the flexibility to check the wall as a whole as a single surface or selectively by defining the piles you wish. www.scadapro.com The checks performed are: • In-plane bending control • Out-of-plane bending test parallel to the horizontal joint • Out-of-plane bending test perpendicular to the horizontal joint • Control in shear • Check for vertical loads at the top, middle, and base of the wall. In SCADA Pro the provisions of EC8-3 for the assessment, redesign and strengthening of load-bearing masonry structures according to EC8 part 3 according to the new draft K.A.D.E.T. for the corresponding checks of existing buildings have been implemented. Types of aid: • Single or double sheathing, Metallic rods, Deep grouting, Mass injections, Inorganic matrix fiber meshes (IAM). 09
