" Design of wooden structures (EC 5) Wooden structures based on EC5. Simulate wood structures from a rich library of standard cross-sections. Elastic analysis (linear simulation of the material), linear elastic analysis with limited redistribution, influence of deformation of connections. All prescribed checks are performed: i. Cross-section design in the failure limit state Cross-section check under tension/compression parallel/perpendicular to the , cross-section check under bending/shear/torsion, cross-section check under combined stresses (compressive stresses at an angle to the fibres, combination of bending and axial tension/compression). ii. Member design in the failure limit state (member stability) Check of column in compression or combination of compression and bending (local buckling), check of beam in bending or combination of bending and compression (torsional buckling). iii. Design in the limit state of functionality Beam arrow limit values, check against oscillations. Wooden member connection design Connections with metallic bolt-type fasteners (anvils, bolts, screws, screws, bolts, bolts, double-bolts). In metal linkages, both single and multi-section connections can be studied, where the members being joined can be: • Wooden member with wooden member • Wooden member with wooden board • Wooden member with steel plate (laminate testing according to EN 1993-1-1 and EN 1993-1-8). The types of load that can be simulated and the connection is required to withstand are: • Loading transversely to the ligamentous trunk • Loading axially on the ligament trunk • Combination of transverse and axial loading. Also the simulation of eccentric transverse loading of the connection (torque connection) has been implemented.
