SCADA Pro OVERVIEW

" Cross-section recognition from dxf or dwg file - BIM technology Two-way communication with SAP 2000 and ETABS The flexible and open structure of SCADA Pro, based on BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology, allows two-way communication with other leading architectural and structural applications such as Revit, ARCHline.XP, ArCADia SOFT, SAP2000, ETABS and IDEA StatiCa. Communication is achieved through state-of-the- art technology with IFC format files. SCADA Pro has bi-directional communication with CSI's SAP2000® and ETABS® applications that allows the import and export of any kind of model created in SAP2000 or ETABS to SCADA Pro and vice versa. This communication offers designers tremendous flexibility and unlimited possibilities for the analysis and design of structures. Also, using the innovative environment of SCADA Pro, the 3D physical and mathematical model of the construction is automatically created from any architectural drawing in DXF or DWG format. The process of reading and rendering of the cross-sections based on SCADA Pro's rich library of cross-sections is done by choice or automatically, per floor, per structural element (columns, beams, slabs, connecting beams), and overall for the entire structure. It is also possible to automatically identify slabs and cantilevers designed with simple lines. The abovementioned possibilities ensure a reduction in the time needed to carry out the design, with a corresponding significant economic benefit. Finally, SCADA Pro is certified Autodesk® for direct and two-way communication with Revit Structure. Multiple benefits: • Significant reduction of modelling time through two-way communication. • Avoiding errors with absolute correspondence between the architectural and the static model. Also in SCADA Pro there are the following advanced features that are combined with those of SAP2000 and ETABS 1. Automatic plate identification, load input and design and reinforcement details, which cannot be done in SAP2000. 2. Design of a structure based on multiple design code layouts (i.e. EC2, EC3, EC5, EC6, EC8 (3), SBC), with the application of the results of the analyses obtained from SAP2000 and ETABS. 3. Design checks that cannot be performed in SAP2000 or ETABS (e.g. punching checks, design checks of load-bearing masonry structures, timber connections). 4. Use of the advanced analysis formats supported by SAP2000 and ETABS. 5. Use the reinforcement details (editors) of SCADA Pro for detailed modification of the reinforcement. 6. Creation of construction drawings and detail drawings that can be modified, beam and column sequences and a full printout of the project results. 7. Results and printouts in the selected language (e.g. English, German, Italian, Polish). www.scadapro.com 03
