SCADA Pro BROCHURE

Basis of structural design (EC 0) « Eurocode - EN1990 includes the general requirements for safety, serviceability and durability of the structures, while suggesting design values of actions for permanent, variable, accidental and seismic situations. SCADA Pro offers an easy way to define all relevant variables of EC 0, which are necessary for the analysis and the definition of the model. SCADA Pro includes EC 0 and provides: • Unlimited load cases definition: snow, wind, temperature change, impact, fire, etc. • Automatic generation of all load combinations, seismic and/or non-seismic. • Accidental design state - Seismic design states. • Tables of default values for reduction coefficients ψ0, ψ1, ψ2 for each category A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H. Actions on structures (EC 1) « Eurocode - EN1991 provides guidelines for design and actions for buildings, structures and infrastructures. SCADA Pro includes all the parameters for the calculation of wind and snow loads (Chapter EN1991-1-3 and EN1991-1-4): • Automatic calculation of the characteristic values of snow load on the ground and on the roofs determined in accordance with EN 1990 for all roof types: Flat, Monopitch, Duopitch, Hipped, Multispan, Domes, Roof abutting and close to taller structures. • Drifting at projections and obstructions. • Automatic calculation of roof shape coefficients. • 2D and 3D visualization of the snow load distribution. • Basic wind velocity. • Average wind velocity VM (z) at height z (according to the roughness of the surface and the orography). • Terrain categories and parameters. • Wind turbulence. • Maximumwind velocity. • Wind pressure distribution on surfaces. • Wind forces. • Wind pressure coefficients for buildings (vertical walls or roofs). All relevant provisions and maps of the European countries included, have been incorporated in all parameters related to wind and snow loads, presented above. 08 www.scadapro.com APPLICATIONS – EUROCODES
