CHAPTER 11 'FORMWORK' 43 Beams: Symbol D, EZ: For the beam symbol the program suggests : D for "Beam", EZ for "Reinforced Zone", but you can give any other character you wish. Number: enter the number of the beam which will be written as an index of the symbol. Dimensions: Enter beam dimensions e.g. 25/60 for a beam with bw=25 and h=60 cm. : Press with mouse on if the beam that you want to place is inverted. In this case the text on the formwork will be in the form D5 25/60 (inverted). Corner: Specify the angle of inclination at which the beam text will be written. Angles are measured counterclockwise starting from the horizontal direction to the positive of the x-x' axis. The specification of the address at which the text of the beams will be written can also be specified graphically if the option After accepting your choices by pressing the button, the program asks you to indicate the line of the drawing with which the text will be parallel.
