EXAMPLE: 'DESIGN OF METAL CONSTRUCTION' 53 In the fields slabs, beams, columns, slabs, reinforcements you can specify various parameters for concrete sections. For metal structures, to set the parameters related to the sizing of metal elements, select the " Iron " field. The box that appears is divided into two parts: on the left is a list of layers and on the right is a list of controls, each containing the corresponding parameters that control. First you select one or more layers with the help of "ctrl" , or all of themwith the "Select all" button. Then you activate the checkbox of a control and select the corresponding key to enter the parameters. The "Deselect all" button cancels the previous selection of layers. Once you have set the parameters of one layer you can copy them to other layers using the "Copy" command. Select a layer and "Copy", then select another layer and "Paste" and the parameters of the first one are copied to the second one. The definition of the sizing parameters of the metallic sections is done on a layer-by-layer basis. Select the layer whose parameters you want to set (e.g. Metallic Lodges) and select the layer you want to set the parameters for.
